Energy Management System (ISO 50001)

Xserver.IoT devices can easily transfer data from the Power meters, Inverters, Gas & Heat meters, etc. to local SQL server.

EnergyManagementSystem.png

If the SQL connection is not available, the IoT device stores data into the onboard storage (SD Card).

  • Interval log  (fastest 1 second, typical setting is 1 minute or 15 minutes)

  • Change of value log

  • Alarm log

  • Event log (fails and status of the Xserver.IoT device)

  • Heartbeat signal

Using IoT servers in energy management projects has the following benefits:

  • easy quick installation, meeting the most stringent industry specifications and standards

  • regardless of the manufacturer (Schneider Electric, Siemens, ABB, etc.) different types of measuring devices (electrical measurement, compressed air, heat measurement, PLCs, etc.) can be connected.

  • a wide range of communication protocols are supported, with the ability to add custom protocols if required

  • simple and quick configuration options that do not require high level of expertise

  • the possibility to reuse projects (creating templates, copying configurations, documentation maker), which can significantly speed up the system build

  • Maximum compliance with the highest IT security requirements, (certifications, complaints), SSH, HTTPS communication, AES-256 encryption, built-in security chip, Firewall, brute-force attacks protection

  • We provide continuous and long-term product support for our products, so we always meet the latest software and security requirements.

  • Easy integration with systems and services from different vendors (Microsoft, SAP, KONsys, GE, AWS, Dexma, etc.)

  • Minimize data loss, with built-in onboard storage power failure protection, support for Pull & Push data transmission simultaneously

Solution to the application:  Smart Factory (Automotive, Food and beverage, Pharmaceutical), Smart City (Office blocks, Logistic centers), Smart Utility (Electricity, Gas)

The benefits of using IoT servers in Smart Grid projects:

  • support for devices from different manufacturers (Huawei, Fronius, Siemens, ABB, Phoenix Contact, Schneider Electric, etc.), via different protocols (Modbus TCP/IP or RTU, OPC UA, REST API, MQTT, etc.)

  • Support for different interfaces: 4G, Wifi, Ethernet, RS485 connection support

  • Cloud connectivity support (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google, IBM, etc.)

  • Remote cloud support for parameterisation, control and configuration download

  • Support for building custom applications, which can be implemented in .NET 6 C#.

  • Remote cloud management, installing and updating applications, IoT Explorer makes it easy to deploy and update these custom apps.

  • Support for Microsoft Azure Edge features

  • Support for redundant solutions, as these devices are located in remote or inaccessible locations, so operational security is paramount.

  • easy and quick installation in different types of distribution or IT cabinets, meeting the most stringent industry specifications and standard

Smart Factory (Industry 4.0)

  • Xserver.IoT supports a variety of protocols to enable you to connect your devices, databases and services (OPC UA, REST API, Azure IoT HUB, ModBus TCP/IP & RTU, SQL Server, Extendable connectivity via .NET SDK).

  • You can customize your Xserver.IoT to your project with opensource .NET SDK (C#)

  • Plugin System - Minimize the system requirements by installing only the components you need from nuget.org and github.com.

  • Role-Based Access Control - You have fine-grained control over the actions a user or service can perform on each datapoint.

  • Platform Independent - Maximize the portability and compatibility of your application by deploying Xserver.IoT on every layer of your production infrastructure.
